First, buy the appropriately-sized quick-connect tool from your local automotive store. Next, depressurize the fuel line before proceeding any further. Then wrap the tool around the fuel line and push it into the receiving end of the fuel filter. It's also very important to wear eye protection during this process

First locate the fuel filter under your hood. Make sure there is no pressure in the fuel line (check your owners manual). Use pliers to squeeze the tabs of the quick connect filter to remove it. Take out the screws and bracket holding the filter to the car. Replace with the new filter and repeat in reverse order.
