You will probably neec a special tool to open up the backside of the watch. If you lay the watch on its glass on the table, you will see the backside has several edgings in it. you will need a tool or figure something out to open this.

usually they open in one of 2 ways, unscrew or snap off, you will need a thin blade screw driver, look for a slight opening and pry there.
