I wouldn't advise keeping as pets cause they die a lot, but go to the local creek or lake and get a fish tank net. It is pretty simple.

The best way to catch tadpoles is with a small bucket or jar. Simply lower the bucket into a pond where you see tadpoles and scoop them up. Yes, you can raise tadpoles like pets if you have a pond swamp or other water feature you can keep them in.

The easiest way I know of is to go to a pet store and get those little green dip nets. You also need to take a jar or container and get some of the water they live in. They cannot live in tap water. The nutrients they need are in their water.
