Ficus "trees" will do well inside if they are by a bright window and are not moved. They do best if they are watered only every three to six weeks.

Ficus is actually one of the easiest plants to care for. With a large pot and good soil, you shouldn't have to water it more then once a week, and it shouldn't mind if it's in direct sunlight or not. You can almost do anything you want with it.
