How do you calculate the volume of a cube?

You multiply the length (or depth) times the height times the width (L x H x W). Measure across the front of the cube, the height of the cube and from front to back of the cube.

The simplest way to calculate the volume of a cube is to take the length of one edge of the cube, and then multiply it by itself twice. This will give you the third power of the cube edge's length, and thus the volume of the cube in cubic units.
