How do I turn off the maintenance required light on my Honda?

have the car brought to your local auto parts store and they should be able to clear the codes in the ECU with a scanner appropriate for your car.

If you have already ruled out an actual problem, you can usually disconnect the battery leads for a few minutes so that the computer will reset itself.

You would have to take it in to find out if something is wrong with the car. They can tell you if you needs to be worked on. They can also tell you how to turn it off.
