You shouldn't. This is the job of a licensed, educated trainer. Unless you have the need for one, a guard dog has no place in a home, EVER.

The doberman canine breed is one that can be very aggressive. You will want that agressive tendency to be displayed only when necessary so it will be very important to work on voice commands and not letting him/her be friendly with every dog and person.

Guard dog training is a very specialized field, requiring knowledge and experience. There are many professional courses available, both to train dogs for guarding behavior and for potential trainers to teach the necessary skills to be a guard dog trainer. It isn't recommended that you try this on your own.

Dobermans are natural guard dogs because they are fiercly loyal. Make sure you train them to stay on your property.

Protection or guard dog training should be done responsibly. You should still have an obedient pet, as well as a guard animal. Find a trainer to work with that will give you a demonstration with dogs he or she has trained. If the dogs they train behave the way you would like your dog to, than select that trainer.

You need to go and get trained on how to do it first then just come back and do with the dogs what you have learned and if you do all the training from start to finish with them yourself you will have much better results. For xtra tips you can do a net search and you will find tons.
