How do I seal a wood stove door?

Your door probably has a channel for a door gasket. Gasket replacement kits can be purchased at most stove supply stores. Let your fire go out and your stove cool down. Then scrape the old gasket off (if there is one. ) Then follow the directions on the gasket replacement kit.

Really you should need to seal the door unless it is not being used. You can simple tap ove the seams to keep air form coming out.
