How do I repair a 1996 Mazda clutch?

The clutch in my car has bone bad.

You need to remove the clutch cover. Remove all the bolts holding it on. Then you need to remove all the clutch springs and components around the clutch. Then you will be able to remove the clutch itself. Once you have a new one installed, replace all the springs and the cover.

Well a new clutch must be install. This involves separating the transmission from the engine and removing the old clutch. The flywheel may also need to be cleaned. Then install the new clutch and reverse the process.

You need to remove the bolts where the tranny meets the engine, inside this compartment the clutch is in. Its easier if you remove the tranny.
