Go part by part - the 4 legs, the base and the back support. In addition you will need the cross bars and the wedges to make it stable. Start with the legs, nail in the base, put the wedges and crossbars. Then start on the backrest.
I find it's most stable when the back legs continue on as the side frame for the back support. It bears weight better. Also the four legs will need cross beams at the top before you place the sitting base. add a comment
Don't forget to put wooden beams or plants between adjacent legs a couple of inches from the bottom - makes sure the legs don't splay out! add a comment
