Take your plant out of its pot, and run some cotton rope criss-cross through the aeration holes. Place the plant back in the pot, and the pot in a larger water filled pot with the cotton rope, but not the bottom of the plant pot, in the water.

If you have a large amount of plants, there are many blueprints online using pvc pipe to help you irrigate your system. With individual plants you can often utilize 8 or 12 ounce water or pop bottles, filled and inserted in the pot upside down as feeders.

Take a bucket of water and place it on an elevation that is higher then your plants. Cut several long pieces of yarn. Feed one end of yarn into the water bucket and the other into the plant. This will give the plant a steady supply of water.
