Get a pipe. Load with a small amount of black power and a projectile and ignite with a small tap hole. By the way this is very dangerous and illegal.

There are two methods. One involves placement of a spring behind a ballistic that is released once a resistive trigger is removed. The other involves ignition of a small explosive.

A firearm can be very dangerous. Trying to make one yourself is not recommended because if it were to be made incorrectly you could easily cause harm to yourself or those around you. Another issue is that each state has different laws in regards to what type of firearms can be made.
