They will have unusual signs like uncontrolled thirst. If your dog has rabies you will know and you have to get them put down.

In early rabies an animal usually acts strange and confused. Later rabies you see mouth foam, staggering, and trying to attack and bite anything the dog sees. The dog also won't want to eat or drink anything. A fever is also common but many dogs won't have all these signs. In early rabies, the changes may be very subtle.

If your dog has been bitten by a wild animal seek medical help immediately as rabies is transferrable to humans and is fatal.

Dogs with Rabies will look sick. They may foam at the mouth or drool, have reddened eyes, and motor and/or neuorological difficulties. They may develop a fear of water and might exhibit aggressive behavior.

If your dog had rabies you would notice the symptoms. He or she would foam at the mouth and also check to see if they are drinking their water. If you notice any of these two then bring them to a vet immediately.

You take it to the vet instantly if you even think that may be the case you do not want to wait for someone on here because if it does have rabies and it bites you 2 things will happen they will put the dog down and you will have to go and get rabie shots not a good time.
