A cat can get sorness at the injection site along with achy joints, he or she may sleep more than usual and sometimes they wont eat for a day or two, if you notice difficulty breathing, or a glassy eyed look you will need to call the veterinarian immediately for an evaluation.

There are no substantial side effects from the rabies vaccine. Your cat may be lethargic after the shot, but no significant pain will affect them.

Rabies vaccinations don't usually have side effects for cats. Occasionally a cat will have an allergic reaction, but it usually isn't very serious.

There are two different vaccines for rabies. The one that lasts for three years could cause kitty to develop a lump that could lead to feline leukemia.
