No, rabies shots are safe for you dogs. They help to protect your dog from getting rabies. After getting the shot your dog may be a bit lethargic, but not to worry, this is normal.

There are not typically health risks related to rabies shots. There is a small chance that a dog will develop vaccinosis. However, this is not directly related to the rabies shot. It can develop after any shot a dog may receive. This is something that should be discussed with your veterinarian.

Typically, there is no risk to getting a rabies shot. However, there is a small chance that a dog can develop vaccinosis after getting any shot. Vaccinosis can lead to behavioral changes or other health issues in your dog. Ask your veterinarian if you have any concerns.

Not that I know of and if they do I am sure the risks would not out way the risk of the dog contracting the rebies virus because if the dog gets the virus you have no other choice but to put the dog down.

Dogs can commonly have allergic reactions to any vaccine. It is important to monitor your pet for any troubled breathing or face swelling after a vaccine.
