The symptoms of rabies in a human usually start to appear around ten days after exposure. The first symptoms are confusion because this disease affects the brain. Next a fever and extreme fatigue and nervousness. A terrible sore throat and muscle spasms occur. Seizures and death aren't far behind. Once a human has this virus it is usually fatal.

In the case of human rabies, the virus can go without any symptoms for up to a year. The first sign is tingling around the bite area. As the condition progresses, there is frothing of the mouth, excessive thirst, neurological symptoms, much like in those of a dog, all of which are usually fatal.

Once a person has rabies it is nearly always fatal. First symptoms are headache, severe tiredness and fever. As the disease goes to the brain the person becomes confused and nervous.

Rabies in a person manifests in drooling, difficulty swallowing, severe thirst, and high fever. They will have hallucinations and muscle contractions later on. If you think someone is exposed to rabies or has it, get them to an ER immediately for treatment.

The symptoms can be similar, but not always. Look out for excessive thirst and behavior mood swings, especially aggression and anger.
