Usually new laptops have a USB connection available. If so, just connect that to the laptop. It should install drivers on its own, but if not, you may need to install the drivers on your own. And thats it.
A printer is connected to a laptop the same way it would be connected to a normal pc. Either by usb or some other type of cable or possible even wirelesses if the printer is compatible.
Blue tooth printers are available in market. If the laptop supports the blue tooth device then these printers can be installed on laptop. Another option would be the printer which would be supporting wireless USB mode. Another option would be plugging in the adaptors into the main socket.
