How do I go about home canning hot peppers?

Someone gave me a lot of hot peppers and I want to can them.

1 - peppers, should be crisp and fresh 2 - Prepare the jars, pressure canner, wash jars and lids,wash peppers,cut and remove seeds, blister it, pack jars pour boiling water in each jar, then put it in the canner lid and vented, let the canner vent steam for 10 mins, let the pressure build, process for 35 mins and remove jars.

To can hot peppers, you will need canning jars and 2-piece lids (lids + screwbands). There are different recipes available, but you'll need to process in a boiling water canner

Canning peppers is actually pretty easy. Make sure the peppers are cut into about an inch chunks. Put them in the canning jars FIRST, don't put hot water in the jars before the peppers. Canning salt goes in after the peppers THEN hot water. The water doesn't have to be boiling but it helps. The jars should seal themselves.

You need to choose fresh hot peppers and then purchase the canning supplies from a local store. It should take a few hours to do.

Cut peppers and remove seeds- if not wearing gloves, wash hands with soap before touching eyes, mouth or small child! If not pickling, follow directions for pressure cooker canning.

Peppers should first either be blanched or skins blistered and peeled. Add peppers, 1/2 teaspoon salt and hot water one inch from the top of the jar. Add lid and boil in water to seal for approximately 35 minutes.

i used half vingar and water boil add oregano garlic canning salt and pack jars good then add hot vingar mixer and seal
