How about creating your own business? What is a need in your community? What could you teach in your home? Perhaps small groups for music, English or other forms of tutoring? How about home day care? Check licensing requirements in your state. Babysitting is another option-no license required.

Try volunteering in the field you are interested in to get work experience if you are having trouble landing a paid position. This will give you the experience you need to put on your resume.

Build your experience by taking classes on skills relevant to the jobs. Look for independent contract work to build your resume, they are more likely to hire with limited experience.
