If I am poly cystic do I have a greater chance of twins?

No if you have poly cystic oaveries then you have a less chance of getting pregnant. It will be harder for you because of the hormone imbalance that the polycystic ovaries causes.

Having polycystic ovaries actually makes it tougher to conceive. It accounts for 90% of infertility issues in women. A lot of the time, women with PCOS use fertility treatments to help them conceive. So PCOS doesn't have a greater chance of twins, but the fertility drugs will increase the chances of twins.

If a person is poly cystic they will have a harder time getting pregnant in general. This is due to not ovulating correctly. The only way I could think your chances of twins being greater would be due to fertility drugs a doctor would give you to help you get pregnant because of the POCS.

Unforunately, having a poly cycstic doesn't mean that you have a greater chance of having twins than anybody else does.

Being poly cystic has nothing to do with having twins. Fraternal twins are the result of releasing more than one egg during ovulation while identical are a fluke of nature.
