How do I get over my lack of motivation to finish writing my screenplay?

The best way is to simply power through it. Write whatever you can, remembering that you can always go back and make changes later. It helps to spend time with other writers who are also struggling, and to reread screenplays that have inspired you in the past.

There are a number of ways to try to beat writer's block. Try doing some research into your topic or the events of your story to help bring a new perspective to it. Show it to someone, get some positive feedback and see what direction the reader expects/hopes the story to go. Then figure out how to surprise them.
