You should explain your financial circumstances clearly, as well as how you arrived in these circumstances, and how hard you plan to work.

You should write in your letter why you need the financial aid and what you plan on doing with the money. Write how it is going to affect your education and explain your current situation. Also, write about your goals and how you plan to use your education in your everyday life.
