You would need to follow your mothers line. If your mother is Jewish, you are as well. If your dads mother is Jewish then so is he, but that doesnt make you Jewish. Also, speak with relatives that can give you some insight into your background. Basically its a matriarchal religion.

Well if you are Jewish you are from Israel. You need to do a little digging in your family tree and see if your ancestors are from Israel. If your answer is yes, then well you are Jewish.
