The quickest and most accurate way to get this information is to call your local county assessor's office. They will be able to provide you with information regarding your property includinga record of when your home was built along with the taxing history. You can also have a title company do a title search at your cost.

It should be rather easy to find out when your house was built. You can check in public records through your county or check for a date stamp in the concrete of a garage or driveway.

Sometimes the tax auditor or tax assessor will keep track of this information. See if they have a webpage by searching for the name of your county or city and "assessor". Often, they will have a webpage where you can search for your property and it will have the construction year.

This information should have been provided in the house description in the mortgage. It is also listed in the property tax records and in your local court house records of original construction and plat.
