I suggest that you sit down with her to discuss her reasons for placing this limitation on you. You need to demonstrate to her that you are sufficiently mature to handle the issues that emerge once a person begins to date. How you demonstrate this maturity depends on your age and your responsibilities within your family.

Prove to your mom in other ways that you are responsible: do your chores, obey your curfew, get good grades. Then ask if you would be allowed to double date with friends or have a date over for dinner with the family. Your mom just wants to protect you.
