How do I change the power steering pump in a Dodge Caravan?

Its located in a weird spot and requires the removal of the tire. Id take it to a shop that stands behind their work, there are a lot of lines that need to be ran and bent to specifications or you will have a rattle box in no time. Trust me.

Drain the oil from the pump. After the oil is drained unhook the hoses and take out the mouning bolts. Bolt the new pump in and hook up the hoses.

First locate the power steering pump bracket and loosen the through bolt and remove pressure hose bracket. Siphon steering fluid from the tank. Then remove the pressure and fluid supply hoses from the pump. Remove remaining bolts and take pump out of engine. Install your new pump.
