How do I cancel my AOL account?

You should call back customer service. Obviously they don't want you to cancel because they're making money from you. Just tell them to cancel your account. They legally can't refuse.

If you have the aol program installed on your computer go to the "master account" and keyword Account Settings. There will be many different options. Just click on the one that says "cancel" then you will have canceled your account.
