How difficult is it to install three-way dimmers?

It is no more difficult to install a three-way dimmer than to install a ceiling fan. Read the instructions with the fixture and make certain you have the correct bulb.

It is a fairly easy process similar to changing a regular light switch. You will need to make sure the power is off to the circuit than remove the old switch. Wire in the new one with the additional ground wire and screw into housing. Once in turn on power and you are done.

You have to plan out, follow the diagram and test multiple circuits the planning takes a couple of hours to know exactly what you are doing, wiring is 45 minutes.
