Kurt Cobain sadly died of suicde. They found his body with self inflicted wounds along with a suicide note. He left behind a daughter Francis and wife Courtney Love. There was speculation as to weather or not his wife was involved. There has never been any evidence leading to a murder investigation.

Kurt Cobain killed himself at his home. He committed suicide by using a shotgun to shoot himself in the head. He left behind a wife, Courtney Love, and a young daughter. He had long battled both the pressures of fame and a severe addiction to heroin before finally taking his own life.
