Drop in temp to around 97 degrees, stop eating, try to nest or den, clinging to you, mucousy discharge, she may vomit and shiver, pant and lick her "nether regions".

Dogs about to have labor will have their rectal temperature declined about 24 hours before birth. Just before labor, the dog will be inpatient and try to find a private place to be. She might pant and act restless during this time.

She will stop eating, be whiny, and she will be very clingy. She also may vomit. You will see a discharge you have never seen before, and her body temperature will drop to about 97 degrees.

If she self recluses herself. Bitches about to give birth like quiet and tranquility and being apart from other canines.
