How can I train my Black Lab to fetch?

Well first you have to show him some videos with dogs fetching. Then you have to make him to do that move,and every time he does it corecty,give him something,a biscut,or a flask of meat. After a week or two of daily practice,he'll do just fine with fetching and you will be proud.

Use his favorite toy to start the training. Keep him on a leash. Get him excited about the toy and throw it close by, if he pick it up, call him to bring it back. If he doesn't, tug lightly on the leash for him to come back. Reward with treats and praises whenever he gets closer to the goal.

First we have to introduce the ball and try throwing it and say bring it if they don't try tying a collar on them and guide them.

Labs usually have fetching in their genes so they will generally do it naturally. However, some don't seem to, so if that's the case just keep practicing with the dog until he gets it.
