You cannot control your partner, but you can choose your response. You must choose not to tolerate the abuse and remove yourself from this situation if it does not change.
Tell this person how it makes you feel. Being clear and calm in your conversation will help a lot. If this doesn't work, you should end the relationship.
You should sit and have a serious discussion with your partner explaining your feelings. I think counseling is going to be the best option for both of you.
