How can I play music and play a game at the same time on my psp?

There is a software app called SEB MP3 Module. This is one way you can do both, but it requires you to alter your firmware. Also another way to do both is IRShell it lets you use two programs at once.

Unfortunately there is no way to do this with just any game. Certain games do let you use music from a specific folder but not every game does. Check the games specification to see if it has a customizable play list.

Well basically what you need to do is open the music application in your psp. You can do this by going on you tube and then playing a song or video on there on the internet application. After this you can just open another tab at the same time and play a game.

You need to get irsmp3.prx onto your Psp. Put your music in PSP>Music. Do not put in the music folder or the main root. Put the seplugins folder into the root and enable it in recovery mode. Now you should be able to play music while playing games, using the L1 to start and pause your music.

You have to download the correct firmware, which is Custom Firmware Extender. After you download that just follow the directions that it gives you. Then during the game press the R trigger and music will start to play.

Well, just open a tab for music. On the psp, you can also go on the internet. So open a you tube video playing your music and then play your game.
