Well for combat use the rotating spin attacks to knock enemies back and then a fast quick attack to finish enemies off. For wall climbing you just have to be diligent. If you are stuck on a puzzle you can always go to gamefaqs.
Drink water at every opportunity in the game. The whole game revolves around reversing time. You can escape some enemies by climbing away or use the wall to jump off it and behind enemies. Look around instead of rushing into a room.
