How can I make homemade pickles?

The brine is made from water, vinegar, and salt, in a ratio of 6cu. water:2cu vinegar:1/3cu salt. Add spices such as dill, mustard, garlic, among many other spices. Add cucumbers and spices to the jars, then fill with boiling brine. Fridge at least 2 days before eating.

First, you need some pickling cucumbers. Simmer in vinegar with spices such as allspice, bay leaves, cardamom, cinnamon, cloves, ginger, coriander, peppercorns and mustard seeds. You can buy these spices pre-packaged, too.

Homemade pickles are simple. All pickles are, is cut up cucumbers marinated for a very long time in a pickle jar and vinegar and pickling spices. Homemade ones are the best.

First buy a jar of pickles, and eat them. Than buy some cucumbers, cut them up and put them in the same jar. Do not pour the old pickle juice out of thejar, this is a preservative. Put the jar in the fridge and wait, and you will have pickles.
