How can I fix my Jeep Grand Cherokee's AC - there is water on the floor?

Sounds like there might be a leak. Purchase an AC recharge can with florissant additive. This way you can detect where the leak is using a black light.

There should be a drain hose that drips condensation from the vehicles A/C system. The hose is plugged. Identify and replace or clean out the hose. That will allow the excess water to drain from the vehicle and allow you to avoid having damp carpet. Make sure it is water and not Anti-freeze, however.

Chances are that if you have water dripping on to the floor then your ac condenser drain is clogged up. You should locate it and see if it is clogged. You can usually punch it out with a piece of wire. If that's not it, the car may have a leaking seal or your heater core may be busted.

First if it's on the garage floor and you're sure it's water not another essential fluid it's probably condensation. If it's inside call your dealer.

You need to go under the Jeep and find the tube that comes down from the A/C evaporator coil because it needs to be cleaned. Water should be going out.

Because of A/C water drain hose block or damage water is coming to floor. The way to fix this is , blow high pressure air through A/c water drain hose from underneath of car. If it is not solved lift the car in a hoist ,Remove the hose and replace with new one.

There is nothing wrong with the AC it is working well. Locate the drain hose on the fire wall, gently poke a coat hanger up the tube to remove blockage.

Check the seal around your windshield. They have been none to leaked over time. Also check your heater core and around where your blower motor mounts on the firewall.

Jeep Grand Cherokee's AC - there is water on the floor broblem solved by this method. : There is a drain. Crawl under the car and find the rubber hose. It's probably stopped up.
