How can I build a masonry barbeque fireplace?

Build a wall on three sides, on the front you can build only half of the wall. At the top of side walls you can make "U" shape small arc's to rest barbeque rods.

Well I suggest you buy all of the equipment from Ebay or buy a built in fireplace that you can install easily.

You can build one by buying bricks and mortar. Then you stack the bricks and place mortar, then put on a grill.
