How big would a Maltese/Shih-Tzu mix get?

If you get it as a puppy and do everything correctly it will have a nice temperment I wouldn't think it would gte much bigger than a poodle if that.

Full grown Maltese/Shih-Zu mixes can weigh anywhere from 8-15 pounds. Their temperament is a combination of both breeds. They are hardy, alert little dogs, good with children and a pleasant personality. Because they can be stubborn, it may take longer to housebreak them.
