Datura plant can help to clear the throat, gastrointestinal problems, insomnia, arthritis and rheumatism. It can be ground up and put directly on the skin, steamed, or put in a tea. Must consult a health professional first, it has poisonous compounds and can be overdosed.

All parts of the plant can cause extreme illness or even death if not used properly. Consult a professional before using it since it has active compounds that are poisonous if you overdose on them.

Datura plants have been known to have great healing properties for asthma. It is also beneficial in heart palpitations. Some even have used it for treatment of malaria. These seeds are very toxic, however, and a slight overdose may cause death. It's said to help in hair growth and even impotency issues.

Datura plants, also know as Jimson weed, had been used in traditional medicine to check secretions, stimulate circulation, stimulate breathing during asthma attacks, cure dyspepsia and overcome muscle spasms. External applications have been used for hemorrhoids, skin eruptions, wounds, and painful joints and muscles. It is extremely toxic and should never be used without medical supervision.

Is widely being used as a treatment for Parkinson's Disease. The fruit of the plant acts as a narcotic to calm. After roasting the leaves, they may be used as a pain killer. Also eases spasms due to respiratory illnesses. Overdoses of the plant may lead to cardiac arrest and/or death.
