No, I've never had any problems with my Phillips VCR, and from the reviews online, most people are quite happy with the product they purchased.

nope, mine works fine (i used to have one). if you have problems, try upgrading to a DVD player - there isn't much support for VCR players anymore. Good luck getting it fixed.
