For a gymnast, what are some good upper body exercises?

Gymnasts need strong upper boddies. Some good exercises are push up and also pull ups/chin ups. Both of these will increase your upper body strength. There are many variations to both of these such as knee push ups or wide arm pull ups. Other exercises include dips, or try doing a handstand and walking while in the handstand.

For a gymnast they can take the bar hanging exercise by swinging over the bars and taking shoulders and arms exercise. Being slim and healthy and by doing regular exersice like movement of the upper body a gymnast will definitely withstand for gym. Take exercise from a proper coach who can guide you well.
