The artificial sweeteners in diet soda may cause urine to have an odor because your body cannot absorb the artificial sweeteners used in diet soda.

Unless the diet soda contains a specific, unique ingredient, not found in other sodas, there can not be an expected, specific odor. Virtually all the ingredients in all diet sodas are the same.
