Question by  kyly (2)

Does anyone have any poems to add to the invite for a christening for my son?

I want to ask for money instead of presents as he is 2yrs old and has everything. I can't find any on the web for christenings.

Since you are looking not only for a poem suitable for a christening, but also to solicit money instead of items for gifts, I would say the best solution migh be to put on your own creative had and write one yourself. It could be lighthearted and even funny. Make your point that you will save it for the future.

I would go to a religious store and ask them what they would recommend. I would also not ask for money. this is very tacky. If the godparents or grandparents want to give something it could be a savings bond. Also add no presents.
