What are the different types of ADD?

My son keeps telling me he thinks he may have ADD, so I'm trying to learn more about the disorder.

There is ADD and ADHD. ADD is Attention-Deficit Disorder and ADHD has the same symptoms but with hyperactivity. While many people are said to have ADD or ADHD, most can manage the disorder without medication. You son may just be a healthy, active child!

ADD also know as Attention Deficit Disorger, and ADHD Attention Deficit Hyper Activity disorder are psychological issues where the person has a hard time concentrating or "slowing their mind down" to be able to focus. There may also be memory and following direction prblems. The difference between ADD and ADHD is hyperactivity.

There are two types: One is ADD, in which the person is inattentive like they are daydreaming. The other is ADHD and this is when one is hyperactive and inattentive.

Yes there are two types ADD and ADHD. ADD usally only affects consentration. However, ADHD causes behavior issues along with a poor attention span.
