No you do not need help streaking your hair. It is nice to have someone else help but you can do it by yourself. It is harder but manageable. Just make sure you know what you're doing and have mirrors available so you can do the back of your hair.

Although it may seem simple to streak your own hair, if you are doing your whole head it may be best to inlist a little help. It will be difficult to do a good job, with streaks looking even as it will be hard to see certain sections of your hair.

Yes, I need help for streaking my hair since it is turning rough while i am sleeping because of friction between hair and pillow. To reduce this i oil my hair thrice a week and then shampoo it. Hibiscus flower and leaf oil is also very good for hair. It is prepared by grinding this flower and leaf.
