Yes, but only on speakerphone and only if absolutely necessary. I do not think it is safe as it can really distract a driver. The few times I do it (if I am running late, or a must-take business call) I try and do it at a stoplight of some other pause in driving.

No, I most certainly do not talk on the telephone and drive at the same time. I believe it is highly irresponsible to do so and is the cause of numerous accidents. I also try to avoid calling anyone I know who I suspect is likely to be driving at the moment.

I do drive and talk on the phone at the same time. It is necessary when doing business to multitask at times in order to get things done. It is safe if you know what you are doing, if you dont, then pull over and talk at the stop sign.
