Yes, dogs may have skin tags. Some recommend tying it off with a string, but this is unsanitary. You can try to cut them off (using as near sterile conditions as you can!) but they will probably just grow back again. It is best to have your veterinarian remove them and cauterize the skin base.

Dogs get skin tags, especially elderly dogs and dogs with dark skin. You should not cut them off as they will bleed and it's painful. A veterinarian may remove them.
