In some cases it may remove skin tags. It really depends on the person. The most important thing do to is make sure it is an actual skin tag and not a mole. It can be very dangerous to remove a mole with Compound W. I would think your best bet is to go to a dermatologist.

Compound W can be successful in the removal of skin tags by freezing the tag and stopping the blood supply. However medical professionals would check the skin for disease.

No it won't my son was born with one on each side of the front of his neck and the doctor told me that the only way to have them removed is to do it medically and most insurance will not pay for it because it considered by them to be cosmetic surgery.

i was prescribed a cream by the dermatologist and it didn't work,i can do that for you, it's the same treatment as the otc(over the counter) with the acception that the otc version does not get as cold as the liquid nitro in the docs office, but it still works, at least for me it did anyway.
