Yes, dogs get skin tags. It is not easy to be know whether a skin tag is harmless or not, so you should ask your vet to take a look at it the next time you take your dog to visit the doctor.

Any animal with skin surface can have a tag placed on it, either in the form of a tattoo or and actual metal tag.
