Did my cat feel pain when she died?

I can't tell you for sure, what I can tell is that for most mammals, at the time of death, the body releases all stored up endorphins and those with near death experiences often cite a euphoria or sense of well being at the time of death. Now is the time to think about her wonderful life.

I don't believe that she did. I personally feel that our higher power allows us (humans animals, anything living) to enter a state of peace where our soul leaves our body and the body continues through with the motions until death occurs. I cannot imagine our higher power allowing his creations to feel pain when we pass.

It depends on how the cat died. If it was sick and you put it to sleep, it stopped feeling pain then.

My cat died with great pain because she died in a motor accident. when she was crossing the road in front of my house, a bike hit her.
